Guest of Honor: Creating Intentional Moments with Victoria Gloria

Victoria is a motherhood photographer, hoster of intentional dinner parties and house guests, and knows a thing or two about meaningful moments in the kitchen. In today's episode, we cover it all! And at the root of what Victoria does, she has the value of meaningful, authentic, and intentional connection as a theme throughout her work and life. Together, we explore how to create these moments of connection, be that with ourselves, our partners in the kitchen, or for a party.

Victoria has long inspired me with her images of home and life on Instagram, and it was such a joy to officially "meet" her! Her words and tips inspired me to pour that glass of wine and gather around the table. Grab your maple latte and join us!

Listen to the episode below or via one of the links provided, and don’t miss following Victoria on Instagram or on My Motherhood Story’s Instagram and her website!

Cinnamon Maple Lattes

Here is the recipe via Victoria’s website for the best homemade latte you’ll ever have! I can’t recommend enough. I made mine iced with a bit of frothed milk on top.

Barista Express

Tip! If you are a Whole Foods Shopper and would like to save up for the machine, Will and I used the Amazon points from groceries to save up and buy ours.

Take Home Tip:

Victoria recommends planning an opportunity for you and your people to come together over food. Remember it doesn’t have to be fancy..she’s currently loving frozen pizza! Put the phones away, and make it as simple as talking about your day and being together.

If having deeper conversations around the table is something you’d like to try but feels a bit new, try starting with one question. You could do your “Light and Dark of the Day” like we do in the podcast! And if it feels better, stick with your “Light of the Day”. Will and I end our days that way right before bed and I can’t recommend it enough (and it’s good for your brain too!)

Here’s to showing up for ourselves, and for our people, and the power of being present around the table.
